Kind words from satisfied clients

G’day Chris. Wanted to thank you for your editing along our journey—always well received, always timely—even when the pressure was on for a quick response—and would have been more than happy to continue our association if not for this area coming back in-house (hopefully that should have been hyphenated!). Thanks again and I could not recommend The Public Sentence highly enough.

If you have a transcription job that requires a speedy turnaround and attention to detail, go no further. I hired The Public Sentence to transcribe 10 x 1-hour ABC radio programs I was turning into a book. It was a job that required intelligent attention to detail, with many historical names popping up throughout and a total of 46 speakers, some of them interviewed via phone and some with quite strong German and Turkish accents. To my amazement, 10 days later I had clean transcripts back – more than 100,000 words in total. Chris and his team did a terrific job and I recommend them wholeheartedly.
Hazel Flynn, author of popular-history and ghosted memoir for publishers including HarperCollins, Allen & Unwin and Pan Macmillan.

Hi Chris! I heard today and I’ve passed with no amendments. Hooray! And comment was made that the “quality of the literary presentation and organization of the document is uniformly strong and reader-friendly.” So thanks for all your super assistance.

Just to say thanks for taking on this project and doing such a great job with the work.  You have always been incredibly quick with queries and supportive over recording formats and advice.  The transcripts have been produced really quickly and to a very high standard.  I will definitely be calling on you again and will be recommending you to others.

Sincere thanks to Chris at The Public Sentence for his friendly, professional and thorough editing of my thesis.  Being new to this process, I appreciated Chris’s calm manner, prompt responses, respectful clarification and open communication style. I wholeheartedly recommend Chris to anyone that needs editing work done. There is no way I could have got through all of that without his help.
Karen Heyward, Australian Catholic University

Many thousands of thank-yous for your ongoing superb service, support, understanding of un-straightforwardness plenty of times, confusion at times, and your patience, especially with my incompetence with IT skills in general. My appreciation to you goes way beyond words can describe, but it also goes to all your team. I am truly thankful for what you have assisted me with all along my journey. I recommended your service to a couple of fellow PhD students. I will also pass on my recommendations to the postgrad education officers, who can recommend you to students who may seek your excellent service.
Maki Meyer, University of Western Australia

Impeccable as always.
Alan Saunders, RIP. Presenter and Series Producer, The Philosopher’s Zone, ABC Radio National

I consider myself fortunate being able to count on the skill and efficiency of The Public Sentence team. Nothing escapes their attention, yet they never lose sight of the big picture.
Michael Collie, Publisher

I have no hesitation in recommending The Public Sentence to others who find the detail of PhD thesis presentation difficult. Chris immediately understood the problem and while the topic would have been foreign to him he presented me with a beautiful document. (Full reference here.)

Above all, you get it right and bother to check, which seems basic but is very rare indeed, and much appreciated!

You go so many extra miles for us!

Your transcripts are always impeccable … very, very pleased.

I admire your diligence and consistency in this job, thanks.

Of course we would be happy to give you contact details for the authors of these kind words. Just ask.
